Melbourne Zoo > Customs Class!!

Ended up going to the zoo today with H. It was so good. Despite a slight shower during our visit and not being able to see the tigers, red panda, bears and koalas. It ended up being pretty awesome. I'm so glad we finally got to go.. together. After the zoo we had dinner in the city @ Vietnamese Noodle Bar or something like that, it was pretty good. Well worth the money(not that i paid) and the service was uber fast. Satisfaction much? :)
Anyways i'll just end with a few photos, considering i took like heaps today (w/ my shit camera).

The pigs were cute, even though they seemed a little isolated from the other exibits.

The kangaroos were so cute. The enclosure was free range so we got to get really close, i so wanted to pat one but we werent allowed pass to their eating area thing.

The gorillas were huge but cute. Although all the seemed to do was eat and kick back.The monkeys were cute too. My favorite.

So was H!

The Japanese Garden was beautiful. They had Koi fish in the pond, unfortunately we couldn't seem them properly but they looked pretty huge under the murky water. Fun fact: Koi fish can jump out of water. (H taught me that)
I loved what they did with the elephant trail. It was Asian inspired (H)!! Too bad the elephants weren't out when we went through, although we still got to see them in the barn thingo.

The lions were cute. They started roaring when it start showering, i don't think they like their mane getting wet. lol!

The Giraffes & Zebras kinda failed but i think it was the weather. The poor things.

The penguins were the 2nd best, they were so cute.

P.S: I must admit, i'm kinda disappointed the animals weren't like the ones in Madagascar. LOL! Cracker Lackin' :)

It was like 30degrees in the butterfly house compared to the 16 degrees outside. The butterfly house kinda failed too, there weren't as many butterflies as i thought there would've been.

H ended up buying me this tiger. It actually roars. It totally pwns his panda which just happens to be like x3 the size of the tiger.
