Caroline & i ventured to the showgrounds this weekend to check out Supernova which is pretty much a homage to Comic Con in the US. I wasn't very much impressed, although that was probably due to the fact that the event was tiny and i was really looking forward to a giant blown up Pikachu (as below).

Regardless of how unimpressed i was, Caroline seemed extremely pleased with her chance to met Karl Urban and get a photo taken with him. So pleased that she cried and nearly passed out. She was so cute!

And as for Karl Urban, apart from being a New Zealander i found him quite charming and attractive.





My highlight of the day was pretty much the shopping part although it took a lot for me to fight temptation and not buy all the cute toys that will only end up populating my bed anyway. I ended with a present for Mickey and Pokemon cards.

Oh and this was adorable!!!!!



I was so tired after the whole expo especially considering i spent the night before climbing a mini mountain in my heels but i'll save that story for another time.
